This mural on Queen Street at South Shore Market was one of the largest murals painted during POW! WOW! Hawai‘i 2016. Celebrated Hamburg-based contemporary artist 1010 is known for creating optical illusions, painting pieces that look like holes in the wall. This particular piece took about four days to finish and has become one of the most recognizable pieces throughout Ward Village.
