Where the Forest Meets the Stars by Glendy Vanderah
Where the Forest Meets the Stars is a beautiful and magical story of friendship, love, bravery, and healing that keeps you wondering until the very end. It’s a really unique love story that made me feel all the emotions I look for in a book. I laughed, cried, and felt my heart race during the nerve wracking parts! The complexities of each character really reel you in and it’s the kind of story that makes you miss the characters when you reach the end ❤️.
The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides
If you are like me and love psychological thrillers, you will love The Silent Patient. I was sucked in from the very beginning and ended up finishing the book in one day! It’s full of suspense, suspicious characters, mystery, and well-layered clues that will lead to a plot twist at the end that you will not see coming!
If I Never Met You by Mhairi McFarlane
There’s nothing like a good rom-com book to help lift you out of your isolation blues. If I Never Met You is not your typical cheesy romance novel – instead it’s a modern but relatable love story that delves into the painful emotions of losing a long time love, and reveals that appearances can truly be deceiving. The author’s writing is thoughtful, realistic, witty, and funny as hell. The book provides a nice escape and is a great contemporary romance novel!
